Dr. Alice Chiou Svoboda, MD

My whole family loves Alice. Her professionalism and ability to assess my family’s needs is outstanding. She offers sound advice and options when coming to a fork in the road of decision making for my families health.

I saw Dr. Svoboda yesterday for the first time and was welcomed by her warmth and concern for my issue. She listened, asked questions and was able to paint a clear picture of what was happening and what my care options are. I felt completely heard and supported and her and her advise made sense. I will continue to see Dr. Svoboda.

She is no longer in KS, she is no with Kula Clinic in Maui, HI. She is super friendly, but it is a very fake friendly, doesn't really treat you, just tell you that you need to go see a specialist. Not a very good family physician.

I am very disappointed. I live in a small town. I go to a small clinic. I had hopes that I would receive a little more time for follow ups, but was told today...she is too busy unless I want to schedule another appointment? I have had two appointments, multiple tests run, one emergency hospital visit-no insurance-and after I receive all the thousand dollars worth of bills, I still don't have a diagnosis...she doesn't have the time.

My family has been with this particular office for several years. After our original doctor moved to another state our file was transferred to Dr. Deluna, who was his replacement. After several visits and coming away with the feeling she was less than competent, we spoke to the nurse who knew us and she suggested we give Dr. Meyer a try. It was the best choice we could have made. We always were more than satisfied with the office staff but in addition to that not changing her nurse took the time to get to know about us. Being more than a name is important under normal circumstances but when a family member is sick or in our case has on going health issues it means alot to us that we are with a competent doctor and caring staff! The care that she provides is priceless.
