Dr. Alice Morris Tariot, MD

Saw Alice Tario for PTSD and maternal depression. I was trying to process an abusive marriage in which my ex-husband was drinking and driving among other things. I tried working through childhood trauma as well. Tarot was judgemental and clearly knew nothing about trauma therapy. All she did was medicate me and told me to control my symptoms. If I could give no stars I would.

Excellent MD. Listens acutely and remembers what is said from one visit to the next. Does not over prescribe. Adjusts her schedule to meet patient needs. Very supportive without being insecere. Knows when to interject and what to say to get you to see your issues better and find your own solutions. Does not "give advice". Very good rapport. Easy to talk to.

I didnt see Dr herself. Seeing nurse. I thought this process was very different. But obviously it allows her to treat more pediatric patients. If she was alone, she would be booked and we could never have been taken in. The nurse was great and talked very calmly which I think helps to keep things calm for the child that is going through so much. I would recommend them.
