Dr. Alicia Acon Ng, MD

I have been seeing Dr Acon for a little over a year, as a doctor I believe she is kind and caring, and she genuinely tries to help you out, however her one of her staff members which is the older lady in the front desk is probably one of the most disrespectful and distasteful human beings I have ever met in my life, she makes fun of patients in Spanish, she is not helpful, she talks in a nasty manner, she talks over you and speaks loudly to you. Apointments are NEVER EVER on time and once Dr sees you its a 5 to 10 minute appointment. Overall I would not recommend even though Dr Alicia is very sweet,. I must say that the YOUNG ladies at her office are very sweet, kind and caring, as for the other lady I think she needs needs to humble herself

On my 6-month follow up, Dr. Acon told me suddenly that I do not need estrogen therapy in the form of a Climara patch. She gave no indication on my first visit that she would discontinue prescribing me my much needed Climara estradiol patch. She told me to continue using the estradiol vaginal cream and that should be enough. If I have hot flashes to take Black Cohash. I felt very angry at her for suddenly cutting me off and I felt like she led me on for 6 months. The only reason she gave me is that I am too old and I could have a heart attack or stroke. I have never had cancer, my pabst smear and mammograms are always fine. She has a very sweet nice personality, her office staff were very professional. To suddenly cut me off like that has made me very angry.

Dr. Alicia is an amazing doctor, great bedside manners, knowledgeable, kind, caring, everything you can hope for in a doctor. She tackles the problem right on the spot and goes beyond her means to help their clients. SADLY, her staff is HORRIBLE! If you arrive just a couple of minutes later, you just wasted your time and efforts that God knows the odds that took you to get there. The staff in the front tells you "sorry, you were late, you will have reschedule, There is nothing we can do". Mind you, I was 5 minutes late. Dr. Alicia in order to be a doctor 3.0, you need a staff that represents you. Fire them all! Hire people with compassion that do the same job that you do as a doctor. You staff literally is the worst i have encountered in years. And you could trust me on this. I see a lot of MD, specialist for my parents and I don't if it is my luck or my look, but I have never encountered the resistance of your staff in any other office. That sense of enjoyment that you sense when… someone instead of trying to help, takes pleasure in telling you have to reschedule, because you are late. If you can't handle so many client, don't overload yourself and if you do, then the 3 cats that you have in the office should be able to give you the support you need. You amazing care is literary destroyed when you have to face your staff. That would in the case that they ever answer the phone. I wish you the very best, but you are no longer going to care for my mother. Sadly, there are a lot of better places that treats you with the respect any client deserve. Thank you for the attention you had towards my mom. It is greatly appreciated. Best luck to you.

I had requested to speak over the phone with the physician to obtain a medical note regarding my care history but was met with an acrimonious office manager who proceeded to battle with me, related to me in terms that are often used to gesture towards African Americans and when I cautioned her to stop, she decided to hang up the phone on me. I left a message to complain, then another staff called to tell me I have to come to talk to Dr. Acon about both the request and complaint about staff and that it would cost me $150.

I had a great experience with this doctor

Dr.Acon wasn't bad, but her office staff & billing practices are unethical. They will charge you for a Wellness visit that's supposed to be no copay, and then change how it's submitted. When questioned, I was told "How we bill is within the scope of the law".

She can smile at your face, but when it will be time to act - she will do as she wishes. Always tired and in hurry, likes to use vacuum in her delivery practice. If you still thinking about a doctor for your deliver - this is definitely not the best choice for you!

I really enjoy having Dr. Acon as a new doctor. Due to changes in my insurance my prior doctor was no longer under my insurance. Dr. Acon bed side manners were awesome. She took her to explain in detail various options for me to consider. She follow-up with a personal phone call. I'm so happy to have her now as my new doctor.

I am 18 week into my pregnancy I have seen Dr Acon 4 times already, The one thing I adore about her is the fact that she explains everything to me on every visit and on top of that she has drawn a plan given to me with the break down of every test including ultrasound. My first ultrasound was 3 weeks ago and we where able to see our baby for the first time. I recommend Dr Acon and Sunny Medical Center to everyone. The staff from the moment you come in always have a smile and greet you. I have Better Health Insurance and the billing Department explained everything to and how the insurance pays for the delivery. I LOVE this office.... Seriously even for one visit try and you will see for yourself...

I absolutely adore Dr. Acon. She's been my physician for as long as 4 years by now. She's very attentive, especially when it comes to cons and pros of certain procedures. She'll not insist on you doing anything just for her own financial benefit, but will find the least harmful way for you as a patient, both health- and money-wise.
