I’m supposed to take advice from somebody who had a 10 year fake illness causing dozens and dozens of “symptoms” caused by their own hysteria?

Dr. Batson was recommended to me by a close friend in Nashville. I had never seen any kind of therapist or psychiatrist so I was a little skeptical about the whole thing. Looking back now, I realize that she saved my life. She had hope in me when no one else did. She was not a "yes" kind of doctor so I knew she was telling me the truth. Today, my life is so much better and I credit Dr. Batson for that. She will NOT give up on you. She didn't give up on me and that made all the difference.

I get the feeling she is insecure and tries to feel superior by discrediting the opinions of the other providers. I don’t think she can separate her own Illness from others . She seems like a lost soul searching, whose convinced herself she has arrived and now it’s her duty to show others the way. No thanks.

I could not believe how rude and un-professional Dr Batson was. My normal NP left the practice and so they scheduled me with Dr. Batson and I left the appointment in tears. DO NOT recommend. She was very unwelcoming, cold, and she "disagreed" with my diagnosis and said that it is not a true diagnosis and would not refill my medication.
