Dr. Alicia Urmaza Camacho, MD

After meeting with “Dr.” Camacho twice it’s clear she should not have a license to practice anymore. Not only is the language barrier with her a problem but she has terrible bedside manner and made me completely regret going to see a Dr. At all. She also implied that I “dropped my baby” while trying to explain my medical condition. Please if you are seeking proper efficient care avoid Medi health at all cost. The nurses are sweet and do their job well, but unfortunately you will not get that same care from the licensed physician in the office. Research her before hand-I wouldn’t want any of my loved ones in her care let alone a stranger. I’ve found a wonderful compassionate Dr. more local who is willing to help and I couldn’t be happier!

I showed up to the office location in Smithtown and the place was dirty, unkempt, and didn't really even look like a Doctor's office. There was a man there, in sweats and a tshirt, on his cell phone, who never even identified himself, that gave me my paper work to fill out. "Dr. Camacho" (if she even is a real doctor) was sitting at the front desk the ENTIRE time, with her back turned, and never once acknowledged my existence. The unidentified man then called me into the exam room, proceeded to take my height and weight and said the doctor would be right in. When she came in she didn't so much as introduce herself or even shake my hand. I was there for just a routine physical exam. All she did was ask me the same questions that were on the paper work I had JUST filled out and checked my heart/breathing and concluded the exam. She said I'd have to go to an outside lab for my bloodwork and when she gave me the paper to take there, her information wasn't even on the form, but other… doctor's were. Overall my experience was BEYOND horrible. As soon as I left I called my insurance and made a formal complaint. I now can't even get another physical, an ACTUAL physical from a REAL doctor for another year unless they decide to appeal her billing for it. OUTRAGEOUS!

Dr camacho shouldnt be a dr. She only knows how to collect from the insurance. Dr camacho is rude, chews on her walnuts while talking to you not showing any care towards you. You tell her you have been having some pain for some time now and just assumes what u maight have. Prescribes u medicine assuming you have something without doing any tests.. i asked for some tests to be done on me and she didnt want to pay attention. i wouldnt recommend her to anyone. She doesnt know what she is doing, she doesnt care for the patient, and when you come for the follow up that she wants u to come she doesnt rememmber ever telling u to come back and asks why u are here. OMG someone from the medical board please remove her as a doctor!!!! Btw after my last follow up im switching doctors.. she said i had rosacia and lupus n recommended me this medicine n stuff when in reality i had had a skin allergy reaction to baking soda... how irresponsible can u be and to work as a doctor???

She is a very bad doc. Sh doesn't know how to draw blood Has no clue what she is doing. Have me with another doc. who has no clue what she is doing...

Unsanitary and rude...She doesnt use protectors on the ear and nose tool. Late for appointment and gave a bad prescript for my illness. Had to use another doctor, waste of time. Run run run far from her!
