Dr. Alicia Cryer, DO

If your needs fall outside of standard, routine GYN care, look elsewhere. Dr. Cryer does not take a whole-person approach and seems unwilling to go beyond surface-level solutions. When I asked valid questions and advocated for myself, I was met with dismissiveness instead of support. After performing a hysteroscopy and D&C for endometrial polyps, Dr. Cryer was unwilling to investigate ongoing pelvic pain or explore possible complications, citing time limitations. I was told my issues couldn’t be addressed because they would take “more than 15 minutes." She offered only one treatment plan (medication I had clearly stated I’d taken before with severe side effects) and dismissed my concerns when I explained it wasn’t a good fit. No alternatives were discussed, and no real effort was made to individualize care. Patients deserve to be heard, not brushed off. If your case is even slightly complex, requires anything more than "take birth control" or if you’re advocating for something… outside the standard protocol, don’t expect thoughtful engagement. I would not recommend this practice.
