DR FISCHER TREATED MY DAD AND WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. SHE WAS KIND AND THOROUGH WITH HIS MEDICAL NEEDS. SHE HELPED BUY HIM.SOME MORE TIME WITH HIS FAMILY AND FOR THAT IM THANKFUL..SHE WAS SUCH A MOTIVATOR AND A TRUE REPRESENTATION OF GREAT DR CARE. THANK YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF MY DAD SO WELL AND HELPING HIM HAVE 3 MORE 3 MTHS WITH US. You were amazing.

i just got out of st.joseph yesterday. i thought she was a good dr. friendly seemed to care about my pancreatitiis an other things .

Horrific experience with "Dr" Alicia Fisher at St Joseph. While I was in ER being admitted for sepsis, e coli in the blood (fingernails and toes were blue, I had severe chills (rigors) and high fever)...Ms Fisher felt is was more important to ask me such questions as "Were you abused? Your ears are the cleanest I've ever seen. Do you use Q-tips? You aren't supposed to use Q-tips. Why do you see a Dr in NY?"...instead of getting me admitted and getting IV antibiotics started to save my life. When I complained to St Joseph, they finally told me after 2 YEARS...that "my claims were unsubstantiated"....Even though my husband was there and saw the entire incident transpire. Go elsewhere unless you have something simple.

I was in the St Joseoh ER for sepsis...e coli in my blood. I had to wait 12 hours with rigors and a fever of 104 before receiving IV antibiotics because of Ms. Fischer. Ms. Fischer was more interested in trying to diagnose me as psychosomatic than she was in treating my life threatening illness.She wasted so much time asking me questions like "were you abused?", your ears are very clean, "do you use Q-tips?"...all the while e coli was poisoning my blood.I received a copy of my medical records. She was more concerned with my use of medical terminology (I assume trying to diagnose me as a hypochondriac) than trying to find out what was wrong with me.
