Alicia Johnston, MD

Alicia Johnston, MD, is co-director of the Immunocompromised Hosts Infectious Diseases Service and an associate physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Boston Children’s Hospital, as well as an assistant professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. She specializes in pediatric infectious diseases, with expertise in caring for immunocompromised children and managing complex infections in medically vulnerable patients. Dr. Johnston earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed her internship, residency, and fellowship training at Duke University Medical Center. Board certified in pediatric infectious diseases, her work focuses on delivering specialized, multidisciplinary care for children with serious and complex infectious conditions.
