Extremely compassionate and has a wonderful bedside manner

Dr. Salland has been my children’s pediatrician for 23 years. She’s extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and has a wonderful bedside manner. When I came to South Florida 23 years ago, I asked several parents who I should use as my children’s pediatrician and her name came up on several conversations. I’m So glad we picked her as our pediatrician.

Alicia Salland is the worst doctor I have seen in my 43 years for life. This quack tried to have my child Baker Acted because she was experiencing some depression. Even though my child was being seen by a therapist and we were working as a family to address the issue. Dr. Salland felt it necessary to attempt to have my child hospitalized off of a 2 minute conversation with her, the very first time she saw my child. This is what happens when people with zero experience in the field of mental health try to make decisions they are not qualified to make. I left West Broward Pediatrics that day and never went back, even though my child went there for most of her life. By the way, my child was forcibly evaluated at Joe DiMaggio Childrenâ??s Hospital and was not admitted because she didnâ??t need to be. My child was unnecessarily traumatized by this nut of a doctor and I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy.

Very poor bedside manner. Complete lack of genuine care for little patients and has no concept of service recovery

Dr. Alicia B. Salland is a bold faced liar that attempted to have my daughter Baker Acted for what seemed purely for her enjoyment. This woman (I use that term loosely) falsified medical information and blatantly lied about things my daughter never said. This woman isn't fit to care for a goldfish let alone children. She may need to seek a professional mental health provider for herself. She traumatized my 14 daughter for no reason at all. I hope one day you get to experience the malicious acts you have inflicted on my child.
