Dr. Alina Yegisheyevna Faramazyan, MD

Perhaps it's cultural; she certainly makes all of the right facial expressions (the "social worker" face of concern). But I found her superficial and actually caught her falling asleep at one point during our meeting!! I get the sense they see a lot of very mentally ill patients with schizophrenia and or psychosis which probably works well for her because she couldn't seem to relate on a human level- it felt forced. She also seems burnt out and when alert looking at the clock. She says "yes dear.." a lot but may not understand that is potentially pejorative. The intake team was just as bad. Very burnt out, not very canny and even spoke poorly about some of the psychiatrists. Very unprofessional. They either need to help these people with burn out or maybe they just don't get very good providers because they don't pay well. But if you really don't care or have hope for your patients, probably in the wrong business
