Alina LodgeSince opening our doors in 1957, Alina Lodge has been at the forefront of addiction treatment, and today is widely considered to be among the top residential addiction treatment centers in the United States. Numerous factors set Alina Lodge apart from other facilities. Primary among these is the fact that we focus specifically on long-term treatment for addiction. Standard “in-and-out” 28-day programs have become the norm in addiction treatment. However, we have found that this approach, more often than not, does not allow for the kind of genuine, long-term recovery that individuals who are struggling with addiction issues deserve. This type of short-term, “quick-fix” treatment also contributes to the tragically high rates of relapse among individuals who do seek help.At the heart of the Alina Lodge mission to help individuals who are struggling with substance use disorders and their families are three core values. They are:-Integrity. We help our students become honest …with themselves so that they can change their lives.-Time. We provide time for our students to heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually.-Compassion. We offer empathy and safety to our students as we walk with them through discomfort, pain, and fear.In our eyes, the above values are self-evident and straightforward, even if addiction itself is complicated. At our residential treatment center, we take the time to understand the root causes of addiction and ensure that once our “students” graduate from our program, they have the tools they need for lifelong recovery. This means that they stay with us for a minimum of 90 days, and the majority stay for anywhere from 3 to 9 months. It is this kind of attention to the unique needs of each of our students that has earned us the reputation we have today.At Alina Lodge, we know that there are as many approaches to treating addiction as there are people struggling with the disease. This is why we customize every treatment to the student’s individual needs.
