Dr. Alina Ioana Osnaga, MD

She is a horrible person which makes her a horrible doctor. EXTREMELY judgmental and uncaring. Doctors like her are the reason why so many people suffer in silence instead of getting care from a doctor.

A lot smarter than her outward demeanor. Good doctor if you allow yourself to talk straight with her about your health concerns.

I have been a patient of this doctor since we moved here 5 months ago, and have seen her 6 times due to an assortment of health issues. On each occasion, I found her to be very thorough, friendly, and professional. I do not believe any of the negative reviews here because that is not the person I know. I recommend her highly!

I don't understand the negative reviews. I've been seeing Dr. Osnaga for a couple years now, and have always been quite satisfied. She respects my opinions, offers her thoughts firmly but not arrogantly, but gives me the last word. She treats me like an adult, which I like. Good doctor.

I have never had a doctor so unwilling to doctor. She was unwilling to do anything. I was in an accident recently and needed to see any doctor. She wanted to refer me to other doctors without any urgency.

How is it that a doctor cannot even manage her time, let alone her patients? My husband has been trying to get a proper prescription from her for a week now... A WEEK! He's been having the worst stomach aches, and we are just waiting on Alina to send it over to the pharmacy... she never returns any calls, she doesn't know how to manage her time, she doesn't return pharmacy calls (and they've called her at least 3 times to update the prescription). Like if Alina was in the corporate world, she would have been FIRED by now, just an FYI. Like how hard is it to get back to a pharmacy to update a prescription? She updated it partially... WHO UPDATES A PRESCRIPTION PARTIALLY!!?? This is insane! Like his file is in front of you, why would you update it partially and not fully, and leave him waiting for a whole week to get an updated prescription from you so he can start his medication? Insane... I swear... ALINA OSNAGA needs to retire and leave medical duties to the doctors who actually can… handle it.

I changed to Dr. Osnaga over a year ago and really not happy with the service. I set up a specific appointment with Dr. Osnaga and made sure that her office could handle my request. With my medical history being multiple PE's, I needed a specific evaluation. Long and short, the time I spent in her office was a waste and said she said she couldn't help me. I was so upset that she never took the time to read my records, prior to my office visit, in order to make a determination of my current condition. My next visit, I had to continue to badger the office to get her to complete the paperwork to get me an appointment with a cardiologist. This took 2 months and a multitude of phone calls. She never completed the paperwork the day she saw me to refer me to a cardiologist, and completed it well over a week later which was again upsetting If you have to many patients, cut down your workload. I have experienced many of the staff chatting more than they were working. Enjoying… your job is one thing, doing your job is another. As I sat in a patient room waiting for my appointment to convene, I hear conversations of everything unrelated to work. Lunch conversations to kids in daycare, what someone said to someone else. I sat there for 20 minutes or more and could obviously hear the Dr. outside my door talking up a storm and not completing my visit as I sat there playing several levels of Candy Crush. Very upsetting I wasn't a priority for them.

I really disliked this doctor. She stared at the computer the ENTIRE time that she was with me, barely did an exam, did not listen to one thing I told her and gave me a speech about why its important to follow up with my chronic disease doctor (who I see every three months without a speech...). She told me "take tylenol" while she was walking down the hallway. Apparently that was her way of telling me the visit was over. I hated this doctor. My husband had a similar experience. Waste of time!

At first she was very confused and thought I was there for the flu (she had me quarantined and was wearing a mask, then removed it and moved me to another room) She then refused to really listen to anything I had to say - I was getting sicker by the day had been in 3 times in 10 days and was pretty sure that I had a bacterial infection or parasite and begged her to re-test me since there is so much evidence of false negatives in many of these infections. She said all my symptoms were because i was eating too much and not active enough (I eat vegetarian , about 950 cal and walk minimum of 2-4 miles most days) and then she said I was probably sick because I was getting old and just menopausal! She was curt and seemed unconcerned, was a very poor listener and seemed almost to be either very tired or on something - only when I threatened to call CDC for help, did she finally relent and give me a referral to an infectious disease specialist (who retested me!)- turns out ALL my symptoms… WERE due to bacterial infection, but only after having to wait for another dr's appt and the tests I asked for initially to be administered and read.. when all she needed to do was order the tests and lessen my suffering by weeks). I only decided to do this survey after a very close family member mentioned he had gone to this same doctor and had a horrible and frustrating experience that was very, very similar to my own. I initially thought it was possibly a language barrier with Dr. Osnaga, but now I think it is just terrible bedside manner and rudeness. And possibly very little continued training and education.

Dr. Osnaga should look to a new profession. While a family member was in the hospital, she told us she was getting too many calls from the family. She also did not spend any time explaining her decisions to the family. Her bedside manner was horrible and her expertise is suspect.
