Dr. Alireza Behboudi, DO

"Buyer beware! Dr Behboudi performed hip surgery on my 82 year old father in law in April 2025 for a broken hip. Much to our surprise the Dr chose to repair the hip instead of a hip replacement. The Dr said the hip was healthy and a hip replacement was not necessary. We were also surprised at this decision since an MRI had not been used to make this decision Two months later my father in law began experiencing extreme pain and loss of mobility. First call to the Dr he was told he would have to wait over a week for an appointment. No call from anyone at the practice. No concern over possibilities of something wrong. Goes to appointment and of course further evaluation must be done. CT scan is scheduled. Results from CT scan show hip is bone on bone with pelvis. Post surgery CT scan shows cartilage. 2 months later no cartilage. Obviously not the result of wear from old age. After promises of calls from the practice, continuous lack communication and lack of caring for the patient, I… would seriously evaluate your choice of this Dr. He is now facing a hip replacement 4 months after major hip surgery being also a cardiac patient. As of now he still waiting on a promised phone call that was supposed to be on Monday, 9/08/2025. This situation could have been avoided especially the lack of caring and lack of communication. Steer Clear!"

My husband, my son and myself have all had orthopedic injuries in the last year that required surgical repair. Dr. Behboudi took care of all 3 of us. We are all healing well, and have nothing but good things to say.

I have seen Dr. Behdoudi on two different incidents that had occurred. I would never go to anyone else. He actually listens to the concerns I have. When another doctor had told me I pulled a muscle, he found it to be be fracture. He is definitely an amazing doctor.

His staff is not patient oriented. My wife was sent home from surgery without any wound care instructions. She was rushed thru like cattle at a sale barn. His staff won't communicate with us either by phone, email, or the UT patient portal system. Very Disappointed in the quality of patient care my wife is being given.

I liked him and his staff. This was my very first surgery. I requested ibuprofen in my prescription instead of acetaminophen. The prescription was not fillable, it was written wrong. My pharmacy called the office. I called the office and they were supposed to get back to me. I called the office again was told that I would have to wait until Monday to get pain meds for my ankle surgery. I will never ever deal with another doctor or surgeon that does not have office hours so they could fix their mistakes. I am highly unsatisfied.

Behboudi was very nice and welcoming! We took our 1-year-old to see him and he was always calm, gentle, and patient with our little one. He never rushed us and always sounded like he wanted to be there helping us. We loved his kindness and all the time he spent on us! Great doctor!

Dr Behboudi stepped in when another orthopedic (one I had already been to) did not come to the hospital. He then became my ortho doctor and I am completely happy with his services. His PA in his office is great too.

just now My daughter was treated for an ankle injury. She was kept in a boot and kept nonweight bearing for two and half months. When we were told she needed surgery I was cautious as she wasn't feeling any pain and as a dancer was terrified to have her ankle opperated on. I took her for a second opinion with a well known trusted local surgeon. He confirmed that her ankle was completely STABLE. She did not need surgery, and immediately returned to dance that night. Her ONLY problem now is that her right leg is weak from not using it for so long, and she is 2 1/2 months behind her dance team on learning this year's routines. SHE ALMOST HAD COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY SURGERY!!!!!

Dr BEHBOUDI has operated on me two times and fixed my broken hand. He is sweet, caring and he listens to my concerns and addresses them so I understand. We love him so much my husband is going to see him also.
