She just wanted to pass me off to the one pathetic psychologist she has on staff for an entire medical school, who turned out to be a major bully just like herself. After completing my entire third year of medical school again upon her request, I confided to her that I was both mentally and physically tired. Her response was, "You're tired? Family medicine and psychiatry (the two specialties I was interested in at the time) are good for that." Only at the end of the meeting did I reveal to her that my mother suffers from schizophrenia and my sister also has a long history with mental illness because I never trusted her to begin with. She does very little to obtain students' trust and never really took the time to know me as a human being. I even heard her complaining about me to her colleagues when I was having lunch at the hospital cafeteria. She is just plain nasty and had no compassion.

She gives advice that everyone already knows. For example, she will be like you got such score on the step 1, that makes you competitive for so and so specialty which every medical student already knows. Her recommendation or reference carries no weight whatsoever. She is belittling and condescending. Not allowed to curse on this forum so this is the nicest way I can say this.

A leech academic administrator

Treats people terribly. Also a very poor diagnostician.
