Dr. Alise Jones-Bailey has been certified in functional medicine for ten years while also holding board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After 25 years in a traditional Obstetrics and Gynecology practice she transitioned into functional medicine to focus less on acute care and more on preventive care. A native of White Plains, New York Dr. Jones-Bailey graduated from Spelman College with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1979. In 1985 she completed her medical degree as a member of the charter class at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.

Upon obtaining her medical degree she went on to complete an internship and residency at Boston City Hospital the first municipal hospital in the United States now Boston Medical Center. For the ensuing years she remained in the Boston area practicing and serving a s affiliate faculty at Boston Medical’s Malden Hospital. Having settled in Atlanta shortly, thereafter, starting …her family and ultimately transitioning to functional medicine in 2015. Dr. Jones-Bailey continues to be passionate about patient care and supporting the concept of health span over lifespan. She strives to harness the power of healing through lifestyle practices currently with a thriving practice of 10 years in the Buckhead area of Atlanta.
