Dr. Alison Estabrook, MD

I waited an hour to see her and when she finally saw me she was extremely rushed and barely spoke to me. She did the procedure I requested on the spot however the way she did it was careless and painful. I was in so much pain because of her being so callous about the whole thing and then when I saw her in her office afterwards, she basically shoved me out as soon as possible. She spent maybe a total of 35 minutes with me and when I got the bill it was $700 for JUST the "consultation". Literally the 10 minutes of consultation I spent with her which didn't make me feel relieved or comfortable was $700. That was in addition to the money I was charged for the procedure, which ironically, was HALF the price. Ridiculous, I will not be coming back. I will find a doctor who spends time with me for 1/4 the price. Also her receptionist scheduled me for an unnecessary ultrasound, but luckily the radiologists there didn't do the full ultrasound so my insurance covered the unnecessary procedure.… When I saw Dr. Estabrook she came in with "so what was the deal with that ultrasound?" As if she had NO CLUE that the receptionist (assuming by her guidance) scheduled it for me. Horrible.

I've been seeing Dr. Estabrook for years. She is always highly professional and will take the time to talk. Fortunately, I have not had major problems in years, but I trust her diagnoses and have heard excellent reports about her skill as a surgeon.
