Dr. Alison Noelle Hench, DO

DOES NOT FOLLOW UP WITH HER PATIENTS OR LABS. DOESN'T REPLY. SHE USED TO BE GOOD AT FIRST, BUT NOW IS HORRIBLE. GAVE ME THE WRONG DIAGNOSIS AND DID NOT FOLLOW UP WITH ME AFTER. I HAD TO CHANGE MY PCP BECAUSE SHE IS MIA ALL THE TIME. I GET MORE HELP FROM THE 24H HOTLINE.

Dr. Hench is more concerned with “running a tight ship” (to use her words) than with providing patient centric care. She is also bigoted against people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. She takes offense at things that are a result of these disabilities and accuses the patient of “disrespect” because of behaviors that result from those disabilities. I have chronic and severe IBS on the date of my first appointment with her I had an IBS attack which resulted in me being less than five minutes late for my appointment. I even called to let the office know that I was slightly late due to my disability. I was told “do not worry about it. We give patients a 15 minute grace period.” When Dr. Hench first came inyo the exam room she launched into scolding me, without even finding out how I was doing or why I might have been late. I tried to explain that I had a disability that unexpectedly caused me to be late. She doubled down on criticizing me. Apparently she would prefer for patients… to be perfectly on time and poop and vomit in the exam room rather than be a few minutes late and keep the exam room clean. Avoid this uncaring, bigoted doctor who has no compassion.
