Summary
I am originally from New Orleans. Though I did my undergraduate education at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, I returned to my home state to complete medical school at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. Returning to Alabama, I completed my internship in internal medicine and then my residency in anesthesiology in 1983 at the University Hospitals in Birmingham, Alabama.
