Dr. Alison Petraske, MD

Dr. Petraske has regularly dismissed my concerns about birth control side effects, severe pain in an early miscarriage, and ongoing painful periods. She shows a lack of attention and care and has expressed that she does not believe that I have experienced the symptoms I report to her. I would never recommend this gynecologist.

I had the worst birth giving experience with Dr Petrake. She made sure I didn’t get epidural so that I can feel everything and deliver the baby fast so that she can go home. In addition of that she was very rude during the process with the way she was talking to me. She didn’t take my pain seriously and that was very inhumane from her. She as well didn’t perform episiotomy as I asked her before the delivery. So I got tears and was being needle stabbed during the stitching as I was shaky and she couldn’t understand that I couldn’t control it. The whole process was such a traumatic experience and my son had even a broken collar bone during the delivery. I don’t recommend her at all. I hope Karma will catch up on you Dr Petraske.

Highly recommend Dr Petraske and Princeton OBGYN! After having a traumatic experience during labor & delivery with my first child at another OB practice I switched to Princeton OBGYN. Throughout my second pregnancy I was full of anxiety and fear, which Dr Petraske and her team handled with the utmost care, concern, patience, and professionalism. Dr Petraske never gave up and was steadfast in ensuring this experience with labor and delivery was much more positive than I previously had. Dr Petraske certainly delivered {pun intended}! I was able to have a completely positive experience thanks to her and the wonderful L&D nurses. I cannot thank them all enough for changing my view and memory of childbirth. They gave me much more than my beautiful second baby. I highly recommend Dr Petraske and team!

Sometimes you luck out and the vibe of an office is just right. Everyone was kind and personable. Dr. Petraske is thorough, kind, and compassionate. She has her work cut out for her with my med. history, but was reassuring and ready for the challenge. LOL So glad I found this practice. Almost don't want to share. ;)

Do not see this doctor! She was cold and judgmental. She made me feel so low and not worthy of being her patient. I literally cried and my family was also upset. I won't get into details but if you want a sensitive and compassionate doctor during your pregnancy do not see dr petraske . Other doctors from the same practice were very kind so try to only get treatment from them. I had to switch from this group all together because of her but I'm only trying to give a warning for you to have a pleasant experience especially during this precious time in your life!

I found that instead of answering questions, especially regarding elective medication, she encouraged me to use it without discussing my concerns with the possible side effects.She always seemed rushed and would tell me we could discuss concerns at a later time. I was not pleased with her bedside manner.
