Dr. Alison Marie Regan, PhD

Dr Regan was an excellent therapist who was very helpful when I encountered a highly stressful period of my life and career. We were able to identify patterns in my life that led to my situation and work through coping strategies. While I am no longer in sessions with her the coping skills we devloped are still being put to good use. She is attentive, knowledgeable and well experienced. I'm glad I found her.

I can personally attest to Dr. Regan's many years of experience, compassion ,kindness, open-mindedness and professionalism. She is highly trained and brings to the therapeutic experience a broad and deep understanding of the human issues that affect so many of us. She is genuinely invested in offering emotional support, providing professional analytical assessment and direction, and in developing healing, analytical skills ,and self-awareness within the patient . Under Dr. Regan's care a patient can expect to become empowered ; becoming an active participant in their healing, self-discovery, coping , and life bettering decisions and choices. I highly recommend her.

She was punctual and kind but often times she over talked me and even complained that I wanted to talk too much. She missed key opportunities to delve deeper into certain topics. There are certainly ways in which she was helpful especially in providing coping strategies but she is not as culturally aware/sensitive as her page suggests. She will go above and beyond for her patients but I sometimes wonder if she went too far. She is clearly skilled in what she does and creates a comfortable atmosphere with the help of her dog. I just don't think she was a good fit for me and felt a bit manipulative when the time came to part ways.

Dr. Regan, is compassionate, kind, professional and super talented.. The therapy I have done with her has changed me. Not everyone can heal others.
