Dr. Alison Mary Sastry, MD

Absolutley awful. Kept repeating herself saying go to the ER if you are having a problem. This Dr. has no right to be serving our veterns that have served us. She is uncompasionate and cold! She is the lowest of low. Find another Dr. before it is too late!!!!!!!!

i came to christian psychotherapy because i had been a patient in the past of dr. G and had no problems. As a returning patient, I hoped to continue seeing dr. G, but she was booked for months. Dr sastry was the only dr with openings(now i know why!). Even though I was not on meds and had not been seen in 2 years, the receptionist booked me for a 15 min med check. when I got there, I thought I was being seen for a full evaluation... not so. sastry rushed and gave me a prescription for lexapro and traxadone. The trazodone literally made me feel as though i was paralyzed from the waist down and i had to army craw; to the kitchen to make my daughter a bottle. When i stood up i began to vomit profusly. Dr shastry's response was to simply take it again (cut in half). I should have known something was wrong then. So, i did as i was told and got the same results again. After that i threw out the medication. I continued taking the lexapro and was feeling much better, but my hair started to… fall out after two months of use. Dr shastry told me to stop the meds cold turkey. Again, I did as I was told. It has now been 48 hours since i last slept. I called the doc to tell her and she said there was nothing she could do.... she did not have time to c me and refused to call anything in. I asked her if i was just supposed to not sleep for the next two weeks while i waited for an appt, and she said i could go to the emergency room. I have two small children and i dont have money to waste on ER visits because my doc doesnt "have time" to c me. My advice to anyone who is looking for help.... STAY AWAY FROM DR SASTRY BECAUSE SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HER PATIENTS!!!! LOOK ELSEWHERE!
