Dr. Alison Weems Shuman, MD

Dr. Shuman is a fantastic pediatrician! All three of my kids are her patients. She is very friendly and answers all my questions I have. My kids love her. She takes her time with my visits and is never in a rush to end the visit. She makes going to the doctor a great environment! I would recommend her to anyone that has kids!

Dr. Shuman is nothing short of amazing. Reccomended by our son's Cardiologist she is a wealth of knowledge, beyond thorough in investigating symptoms and probable causes, loving, a great listener and teacher. Our son has multiple cardiac anamolies, choosing a Ped. was scary and daunting. Dr. Shuman has been pivotal in treating our son during times of crisis. I highly reccomend her. If you want the best care for your child from a savvy professional, look no further!

Dr Shuman is great w/ my kids, she gives good information and if she says she is going to call a patient she calls, my children enjoy her, and I feel comfortable in talking w/ her. As for the office itself, the wait for a schedule appointment is ridiculous, and the some of the nursing staffs bed side manner could use some work.
