Dr. Alison Simona Smith, MD

Allison Smith, MD, is a Staff Member in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology. Her specialty area is neuroradiology. Dr. Smith earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. She completed an internal medicine internship, a diagnostic radiology residency and a neuroradiology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She is certified by the American Board of Radiology with additional certification in neuroradiology. She is also a Diplomate with the National Board of Medical Examiners. Prior to joining the Cleveland Clinic in 2006, Dr. Smith was Staff Neuroradiologist and Director of MRI for Aultman Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. She has published a number of articles in peer-reviewed journals on topics related to magnetic resonance imaging and computer-assisted tomography. She has also authored several book chapters related to these topics.
