I have been a patient of Dr Tane for fifteen years now. I am diagnosed with Alcohol Use Disorder, Depression and Acute Anxiety. In addition to my treatment with Dr Tane I also regularly see an APRN for Medication Management, a Substance Abuse Counselor and I am active in a 12-Step Program. Dr Tane supports all of these facets of my wellness plan. Dr Tane supports *my* life goals rather than interjecting her own on to me. She helps me to recognize such goals as well as to recognize my motives, attitudes and behaviors. Dr Tane uses examples of successes in my life to positively reinforce that I can indeed achieve my life goals through continued attention to my attitudes and behaviors. In summary, through continued treatment with Dr Tane, I have the ability to be more in control of my actions, I can be more thoughtful of how I treat others, and I can choose how to handle or cope with life situations that arise. Both the office and waiting area are clean and… comfortable. For those with physical challenges there are no stairs or steps to climb. The processing of insurance and co-payment are both very easy thanks to Dr Tane's years of experience in dealing with insurance companies. Dr Tane is a seasoned professional w lots of knowledge and compassion. She is thoughtful in her sessions and looking to assist the client move toward whatever they establish is a focus for them. Time well spent.

I had one session to discuss my situation and set up for couples counseling, At the end, I was asked to set up next appointment. I said i would talk to wife and get back. I talked to wife and called back within an hour. I left message on tape, no response for 2 days. Called again and no response for 4 days. My wife and I agree that a pro. psychologist should not function in this way, If for some (unexplained) reason she does not want to help us, she just needs to tell us. The single session was useless and under these circumstances, WE believe neither I or medicare should pay for it. Impossible to communicate with this INDEPENDENT contractor.
