Dr. Alison Ann Tucker, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Tucker for 4 years now. My first appointment with her was during a very tough time in my life. I felt like she made me a priority. We spent lots of time together and I feel like she genuinely cares for me as a person. She NEVERS fails to follow up or get back in touch with me if necessary. Her assistants are top notch. Very professional, friendly and prompt. I hope and pray that she never retires.

I am a 58 year old female and have had several different family medicine doctors over the past 30 years. Dr Tucker is an excellent doctor in every way. She is very kind, understanding and efficient in addition to being a very talented diagnostician. Over the past few years, both of my adult daughters have switched over to her and most recently, my husband has too. We all think very highly of Dr Tucker, both as a very skilled physician and a kind, caring person.

After my last Family Dr moved away I looked for a new one and just couldn't feel comfortable until I went to Dr. Tucker. She is fantastic. I never feel rushed and I feel that she genuinely cares about her patients. She listens to you, she offers alternative treatments (She's not a pill pusher) and yes, she harps on diet and exercise - but we all know we need to watch our diets and exercise more - we just don't do it. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else I feel I am in good hands with her monitoring my care.

I've been going to Dr. Tucker for a bit over a year now, and I've had great experiences with her every time I've gone. She's recommended doctors to me, she follows through, she's available by email, and when I've gotten really sick, her office has found a way for me to get in as soon as possible. She is one of the few doctors I've ever had who didn't seem to be instantly pushing me out the door. I have complicated health issues, and she is very patient and responsive in helping me. It took me a while to get in for an initial visit (as is the case with most doctors in this city), but I am so grateful to have her.

Dr tucker was an angry nasty person, actually berated me and ridiculed me. When she walked in i finished up a text message- finished typing about five characters and hit send while she was bust typing on her keyboard. She lectured me on my rudeness for over five minutes and how dare i use a phone in her office. I sincerely apologized for offending her, yet she continued complaining about me for many more minutes. When her anger was finally spent she very nastily asked me what i wanted to work on- why was i there? She looked at me with daggers in her eyes. I told her "nothing, you are so nasty" then i left- went to the parking lot and cried for about 45 minutes. I rarely get targeted for random acts of rage and hatred but dr tucker unleashes inappropriate abusive bad behavior. I dont think typing five letters and hitting send on a phone warrented that response. If she expressed politely that she would prefer i use my phone only outside of her presence i would happily obligied and… apologized with no harm done. She didnt have to aggresively berate me and be harmful to me. Please dont trust this doctor. I believe this person may be too impaired mentally to provide adequate health care to those in need. Just being a concerned honest person. Beware!
