Dr. Alison Lynn Weiner, MD

I’ve been to many other Psychiatrist over the years and Dr. Weiner is truly the best! She really listens to everything you have to say to get the correct diagnosis and she’s quick to respond whenever you need her. I couldn’t be happier!

I recently had a great visit with Dr. Weiner. I felt a bit uneasy about my appointment being it was my first time visiting a psychiatrist. However, she immediately made me feel comfortable. As soon as we sat down, she seemed to really want to get to know me and my history, and took the time in doing so. After one visit, I am truly feeling much better and I feel capable of coping with my situation. I can already tell she truly cares about her patients and will be of great help to me along my journey. Her office was in a great location, very neat and clean, and I highly recommend her.

I have been on so many antidepressants for over 10 years. Dr Weiner, after going through all of my history and symptoms, finally diagnosed me correctly. I am so stable on a mood stabilizer. She is the best Psychiatrist!!!

Dr. Weiner is extremely caring and helpful. She always makes me feel comfortable when I go to her office. She has helped stabilized my mood disorder.

I have been suffering with anxiety symptoms for a long time. Dr Weiner gave me an extensive evaluation and listened thoroughly to my entire past and present history. She prescribed medication that has made a big change in my everyday life. She also collaborated with my therapist which was so helpful. I highly recommend Dr Weiner!!

Dr Weiner is very empathetic and a great listener. She understands all psychiatric issues and knows which medication to prescribe.

Meeting Dr. Weiner truly emphasized the subjective nature of psychiatric evaluations. An educated patient or one whom is too ill to advocate for themself would truly be at risk for a misdiagnosis that would involve unnecessary meds. As other reviewers have said, she seems to love using the word “ manic “ and “ mania” I am a patient who suffers from an autoimmune disease which has an insomnia component. She continually insisted that not sleeping was a form of manic behavior. Insinuating I was bipolar. I suffer from anxiety with a very minor depressive component. As I told her my history she continually twisted my words or took them out of context. Absolute horrifying experience. As I spoke she was rude enough to take a phone call and then uh huh me as if I was boring her. She was barely listening to what I said and zeroed in only on a specific word or phrase, hence not hearing the whole conversation. It is frightening to think in less than an hour she chooses to make such strong… diagnoses for ANYONE. I shudder to think the harm she has caused .

I finally feel better with the medications she prescribed.

Me and my Husband are both patient's of Dr. Weiner and we have always had a great experience in her office. Dr. Weiner and her staff are very nice and helpful. I highly recommmend.
