Dr. Alison Marie Weisheipl, MD

I have had low back pain for many years and two of my friends suggested Dr. Weisheipl. She has been great. At the first visit she took the time to listen to me and diagnose my problem. She is well educated in pain and I felt very comfortable with her. I have done well with the injections and will recommend her to others.

Dr Weisheipl and her staff made me feel very comfortable and safe... Once again the pain was minimal... This was my third treatment and I am sure it will help as well as the prior experiences..

I saw Dr. W after my pain doctor retired and I am relieved to have found someone with a great bedside manner. She is knowledgeable and skilled as well.

She is so kind and listened to me when other doctors did not. Even though my MRI was normal, she listened to where I was having pain. I got so much relief from her.

Smart, great bedside manner. She is a wonderful doctor and has helped me with my pain. I barely felt a thing when she gave me the injection!

My mom went there to get help with her many physical issues she has that cause her not being able to walk at times. This wanna be doc should not be working with pain patients at all! She would not help my 76 year old mom and told her to come back in 2 weeks so they could talk "options". First we waited 2 hours to see her and she was worthless and she treated my mom like she was seeking " drugs" really????? Stay away from this doc she has no compassion!!!

Alison Weishepl was hired by me to help with severe pain which started after a sky diving accident and was compounded by a recent fall. I have a lot of Pain is in my neck, shoulder and left side rib cage Along with this, I have radiating pain down my arm. I complied with all of her requests and filled out the paper work as needed. I gave a urine sample that came back as expected without issues. Upon seeing Alison on my 2nd visit, she walked in the room and immediately called me a liar stating I had told her something that I had not said. She also had not received X-rays from previous doctors I had seen and made me feel like this was my fault. Later , she said that we had a misunderstanding but did not apologize for her insult. She sent me away with with no pain relief and made me feel like a drug seeking low life. She wanted to do more investigating and requested more releases from previous doctors. She showed no compasion for my pain. I requested to see another doctor within the… practice in West DesMoines, Iowa.

I recently saw Dr. Weishepl for chronic pain. I saw her at Central states medicine in West Des moines, Iowa. I have had ongoing neck, back and arm pain from an injury. The arm pain radiates from an issue in my neck. On top of this, I have pain in my hands and knees from arthritis. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 2 years ago. She is the 3rd dr. I have seen for the pain. She treated me like a drug addict from the start. I followed through with all of her requests. The UA was as expected with what I told her and she was fine with that. She was going to get records and more info and said she would help me when I saw her 2 weeks after the 1st appt. I showed up for the appt. She entered the room and started questioning me. Initially, she called me a liar regarding info I had told her. She then summed that up to a misunderstanding. I called her out and let her know that she was very rude. She did not get records from other physicians as she had stated she would. I requested another… physician in the office. She said maybe next week at another appointment.... for injections or other pain relief if things add up.

An excellent replacement for my pain management Dr in Calif. She gave me Dr Weisheipl's name and recommendation. It has been a seamless transition. I am delighted with my new pain Physician. Recommend her highly
