Dr. Alison F Willenbacher, PhD

Dr. Willenbacher was so attentive and had great patience with me after being late a few times. I felt that she really cared and gave me the tools I needed to overcome my anxiety issues . I thank God every day I found this therapist and highly recommend her to anyone.

My experience with Alison was not helpful to me. I saw her for a year after coming out of an emotionally abusive relationship with a borderline narcissist. She knew nothing of how to deal with someone who was going through narcissistic abuse. I found her to be impersonal, looking at the clock through out our session, money focused, and forgot things I told her often. My last straw was when she blamed me and gaslighted me bc I had unknowingly gotten involved with a sociopath during our work together . I knew I had to get out of this relationship with her. I soon found an incredible therapist once I left Alison- this confirmed my instincts about her were correct. Bottom line she did not help me at all . She actually made things worse.
