Dr. Alison E Zimon, MD

Dr. Zimon is at the top of her field. She is just outstanding in every way. She's up-to-date on the latest research, thinks creatively in her approach to treatment, and is very experienced. She is also incredibly sensitive and compassionate and delivered such wonderful care to me at some difficult moments. We were successful with our first cycle and I'm so grateful to her for everything she has done in caring for me and helping us along the very difficult journey that is infertility and IVF treatment. CCRM is also a great clinic, with wonderful nurses, incredibly skilled embryologists, and the best technology.

I was searching for a fertility specialist after trying to fall pregnant naturally for over 7 months with no luck. I’m 40 years old, so age played a huge part and I was eager to get the process going. After reading many reviews online I decided to go with Dr. Zimon Alison at CCRM Boston, which proved to be the best decision ever. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Zimon and her staff, she is very knowledgeable, professional, great personality, very empathetic and kind, she made sure to inform us and update us regarding every step of the way. Dr. Zimon really cares about the success of your pregnancy and is very dedicated. The Staff and nurses Jenna, Alison, Misty, and all the others at CCRM were absolutely wonderful and very kind throughout the entire process. I was very lucky and had success with my first IVF cycle, I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant and feel amazing, could not have done this without the help of CCRM Boston. I highly recommend Dr. Zimon to anyone who is… struggling with fertility.

We arrived at CCRM completely hopeless after 5 failed cycles at another Boston clinic, but within twenty minutes of our first consultation with Dr. Zimon we knew that we needed to switch. It was clear that her think outside of the box approach and careful attention to detail would make the difference for the one frozen embryo we had left. We were so drained after two years of failures, but also eager to not waste any time in making the switch to a new clinic. Misty and Elana made sure to expedite every part of the process in order to prevent any more waiting or stress on our end. They were always accommodating, knowledgeable, and kind. I had dealt with lining issues during previous transfers, which proved difficult for my former doctor, but Dr. Zimon knew there was a more gradual approach that would likely work better for me. And, low and behold, she was right! My lining never looked better. I am a little over 12 weeks pregnant and owe this to Dr. Zimon's expertise and the care I… received at CCRM. It is still early for us, but after all the devastation I never thought I would be able to see our little one swimming around on a screen! My only regret is that I did not switch to CCRM sooner.

I want to personally thank Dr. Zimon & her staff (specially Elana, Misty & Maryann) to make my dream come true. Dr. Zimon for me is an agent sent by God to fulfill my dream of becoming pregnant after struggle of 8 years. Right from the time I visited Dr. Zimon & met her staff at CCRM few months ago (after my relocation from Dallas), I felt I am in safe hands. During my treatment, they proved that entire team (whether nurses, lab technicians, embryologists - in my case Elana, Misty, Julie, Maryann, Stephanie & Paula) are so knowledgeable, helpful, empathetic and follows a realistic approach to help you in best possible manner & politely address your concerns ( no matter what questions you may have). Nurses were always available to help and even Dr. Zimon took extreme care of all my appointments with her even if they were on weekends. Dr. Zimon would compassionately listen to all my concerns/questions and address very positively and giving me a hope/motivation that she will work it out… for me explaining me next steps and will get me there soon. All I can say is they put themselves in shoes of a patient and completely understands what they may be going there and take extreme care of their patients. I am gonna miss the warm hugs that I use to receive from each one of you ?? Loads of respect and love ??

We cant thank Dr Alison Zimon enough. CCRM is an amazing clinic. Right from the receptionist to nurses(Elana, Misty) to Phlebotomists everyone at CCRM is amazing. Dr Zimon was always patient with us, heard our concerns , gave us a realistic approach. She is very intelligent and hard working. Nurses immediately replied to our messages . They are open even on Sundays(I was amazed) and make sure your cycle is taken care of. Out of zillion times we have been there, hardly 2 times they were running late(which is great because you will be there quite often during thetreatment). They are very organized. Dr Zimon was present at all our appointments except one but that was covered by Dr Styer. All the nurses , embryologists are amazing and take very good care of you. Thank you so much Dr. Alison Zimon.

I was with AZ for almost 2 years with no known fertility issues, she did number of iui and Ivfs - It was always no fertilization story. I decided to see if it was me or her and moved on to Mass General and first try they retrieved 6 eggs, 5 fertilized and all went to day 5 - got pregnant and realized Zimon is a not good at all. I don’t trust her and neither should you.

Dr. Zimon is an incredible and brilliant physician!! My only regret is that I didn’t start with her right away! We sought her help after having a horrible experience with a large IVF clinic in the Boston area. We had undergone 2 IUIs and then an IVF cycle where they retrieved numerous eggs but could only get one embryo from them. They transferred this embryo which ended up in a chemical pregnancy. We were left devastated as they told us that it had to do with egg quality which couldn’t be fixed. We had previously heard about CCRM through a friend who had success so we sought out Dr Zimon and the CCRM team. In our initial consultation, she explained all the changes she would make to my protocol and gave us hope at a very dark time! During the IVF cycling, she does all her own ultrasounds in the morning and adjusts dosages based on your body (rather than a set protocol like most facilities). We had such a personal experience throughout the entire process! They were able to retrieve… numerous eggs again but this time they were great quality thanks to her! We ended up with many embryos that we were able to send for genetic testing. We still can’t believe we could have such a drastic change in results from one physician and facility to the next. We then had a successful transfer and am finally pregnant after such a long and exhausting journey! While our care with Dr. Zimon was flawless, my husband and I often discussed that even if we didn’t have good results initially, we would definitely stay with her as there wouldn’t be anyone we’d trust more. I sincerely feel like I owe my life to Dr. Zimon and the entire team at CCRM. She is not only incredibly talented but also very personable! It was very bittersweet saying goodbye to her and the team, but we will be back in the future!

If you’re considering IVF, I absolutely encourage you to schedule a consultation at CCRM Boston. Dr. Zimon and her team are knowledgeable, supportive, empathetic, and accessible while also being realistic about all of the stressors, the science, and the hopes that are wrapped up in the process of IVF. The CCRM facility is nice and new and appointments generally run on time (which is critical as you’ll be there a lot). Our questions were met with thoughtful answers, as Dr. Zimon made herself available to us both during and in between appointments. What was most important to me was how genuinely invested everyone on staff was in my husband and me—not just in our success, but also in our experience leading up to it.

I’ve had a number of reasons to seek Dr. Zimon’s help over the past few years, and have been so lucky to receive what I would consider to be the absolute best care during what I would otherwise label as a grueling process both physically and emotionally. Throughout many challenges, she’s demonstrated that she really cares about her patients and enjoys getting to know them on a more personal level. She’s also extremely (really, really, really) intelligent and stays informed of the latest and greatest developments in her field. When she made the decision to co-found CCRM Boston I followed her there, because she’s just that good, and it’s truly remarkable to see the love she and her co-founder, Dr. Styer, have put into every detail of this brand new facility. I also think it speaks volumes that the founders have formed a team of incredibly friendly and helpful professionals, most of whom they’ve worked with for many years - showing that the staff mirrors my respect for the founding… physicians with their willingness to follow them to CCRM.
