Dr. Alissa Craft Hudson, MD

Dr. Hudson is one of the BEST physicians I’ve ever seen. She’s very knowledgeable, explains information well in a way that is easy to Understand. Stops and talks until you have your questions totally answered. Liked her so much!

Second visit to correct issues from cataract procedure. Outcome questionable. Requested another procedure, she declined due to insurance. Offered to self pay. Odd and peculiar. Sheila Office presentable.

I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Hudson. She gives a level of personal care that very few people are willing to give their patients this day and age. She even came into her office on Saturday to treat me when I was experiencing a very bad eye infection. Super lady and from what I have seen she only hires the best of the best to support her in her practice. She performed a total lens replacement on both of my eyes a couple of weeks ago and I experienced absolutely no problems during or after the surgery. I can see better now than ever in my life. Yep.....I guess you can tell I am very happy with Dr. Alissa Hudson and would recommend her to anyone.

This office has very good technical and professional staff however they are a typical old school optical shop running the same old scam on consumers. They will not provide customers their pupillary distance (PD) reading (required for an glass purchase) with an exam unless you buy glasses from them. I paid for my exam and it all went very well until I asked that my PD be included in my prescription. They flat out refused. Actually the optometrist said I could have it during the exam but I had to get it from the front office staff who refused. I offered to pay more for it to be included. Again, they refused. I hand delivered the two doctors in the practice a complaint letter and notified the FTC, Health Board, Better Business Bureau and TN Attorney General and they have both just have ignored me. Next I plan to appeal to my state representatives to change the laws in TN so shops like this will stop ripping off consumers. Beware of Middle TN Eye they will scam you. If you know… of ophthalmologists who will not run this scam on you in the Cookeville, TN area please let others know.

I went in to have my diabetes checked. I thought everyone was so nice! Dr. Hudson spent a good amount of time with me and was really friendly!

Has everything that you need. From check in to getting glasses. Had an excellent experience. Very knowledgeable.

Went for my diabetic check. By far, the most through check I have ever had. This place is on the ball from start to finish. Making the rest of my family switch over from now on.

I think Dr. Hudson is a great eye doctor, she did a good job on my cataracts. My visit this was not so good. The time with Dr. Hudson was great, but the staff left much to be desired. The refraction exam was incomplete as my close vision was never checked. I had to demand a copy of the refraction prescription and was told my insurance would not allow for me to get a copy of the report. When they reluctantly gave me a copy it was incomplete. I asked about the missing

Had a great experiencewith Dr Hudson and her staff. She took time to explain everything to us. My mother was very scared about her cataract surgery and everything went so smooth and easy.
