Dr. Aliuddin Mohammed Khaja, MD

He is rude very unprofessional, Kept calling me a female even after I told him I was a man, Like he was trying to mess with me, He wouldn't refill my medication said I was wrong but wouldn't say as to why I was wrong? he said he was taking down notes to make sure I never get my medications in his word "I'm cut off" He didn't even ask how I was or what Im dealing with he went to my medications straight away and then said you get none.... Who gave this guy a License to practice!!! Ive never been treated so poorly by a medical person in my life... STAY AWAY!! You will leave or get off a phone call with this person (I will not call him a Doctor) feeling so so much worse... Please Heed my advice!!!!

Dr. Khaja has an indefensible stance on ADHD. He thinks that one cannot excel academically if you have ADHD. If you have a prior ADHD diagnosis, he will simply ask about your grades. If you've had good grades, he will deny you treatment. Dr. Khaja ignores the fact that people with ADHD are actually overrepresented in academic research settings. He also has a tendency toward misogyny.

Worst provider ever. Spoke over me, went as far as to discount a prior diagnosis completely (after a ten minute phone call). Was rude, stuck up, and make me cry throughout the call. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This guy has no manners and pays his patients no mind. The staff were okay, but having a tv in a psychiatrist’s waiting area shows just how clueless and careless this place is. No regard for the patient. Very uncomfortable.

This place is not for children because the doctor lacks in empathy!!!!! Extremely rude and very judge mental and Every time we would’ve gone it was about an hour wait and all he gives you is maybe 3 minutes of his time once you go into his office he never wants to address the facts or hear you out it just feels like he’s behind his desk and just wants to feel out a prescriptions out for you if you’re trying to get better this is not the doctor to go to because he’s just there to give you prescriptions and so you can go on your way he made my 14-year-old son feels way worst than when we initially started he honestly is there just for the money because his lack of empathy towards his patient is not there if you have a child this is not the place you want your child to go to he will for sure make sure your son will always be a prescription and never want to get him better I even question myself if he was a doctor by the way he speaks to you he’s so rude. More than an hour wait time everytime I go. My needs and symptoms are never fully addressed. If they are the doctor passes judgement and is insensitive. He is unprofessional and picks up personal phone calls in the middle of your appointment. First time I met with him he asked me what medications I was on before than just wrote me a prescription for the same ones. I was in and out his office in 2 min. He was cold and unfriendly. This last appointment I felt worse about myself than before i came in.

Dr. Khaja and his team are very professional. The offices have a welcome, clean and friendly ambiance to them. This is one of the few psychiatrists that will treat you according to your medical conditions. His team are wonderful and I cannot say more positive words about them.

Hands down the WORST experience with a medical doctor I have ever experienced! Zero respect or concern for his patients. I waited for an hour in a small ,crowded room with Maury Povich playing in the background. Office staff looked like they rolled out of bed. Like other posters have stated, he didn't even look at me when he started asking questions. I felt much WORSE not better after interacting with this man. I cannot believe that Kaiser contract with this office. When I complained about the wait he told me that if I didn't like it to go somewhere else. So I did exactly that and will never look back.

Dr. Khaja was the worst doctor I have ever met with. I went into his office and he and his staff were completely rude. Not to mention he is always running behind and make you wait an extra hour in a tiny waiting room, packed with other people- sometimes no where to sit. During my first appointment with him, he read my file and made no eye contact when talking to me. I told him I was pregnant and stopped taking my medication. He told me to keep taking it and when I asked him what the side effects were he answered, “I don’t know, birth defects. Research it.” The second time I had an appointment with him, I wasn’t improving and when I was telling him my symptoms, he cut me off and said, “yes, I know you were already feeling that! What are your new symptoms?” I told him that I didn’t have new symptoms and was feeling the same ones. He replied, “Just take a Benadryl, you’ll be fine!” I was off of work during this time and needed a doctors note to confirm my medical leave. I told the nurses… what I needed written and they refused to write it. I wasn’t asking for extra time off or to add anything that wasn’t true. They were just lazy to add a sentence, dismissive and rude. One time, it took a nurse a half hour to write 3 sentences due to her talking to her co-workers and playing with her hair! When I asked for a note another time, I had to call and ask them to write it 3 different times because no one would do it! During my third visit with Dr. Khaja, I informed him that my medication was not working. His response was, “ok, pick which medication you want to be on. They are all the same anyways!” I was in shock that he would let me pick my own considering HE was the psychiatrist, not me! I reminded him that I was pregnant and wanted to make sure what I was taking was safe. He answered, “Well, you have to find something that works for you.” By this time I had had enough. If you can avoid this place, do so. They don’t care about their patients and treat them horrible. You won’t find help here. If anything this just caused more stress!!!
