Dr. Aliya Ahmed has been my children's doctor since birth. She has vast knowledge in problems for infants to teenagers. Additionally, she gives medicine only when all other options have been tried. Best doc in Telfair, Sugarland area!!

My son is a patient of hers since the time he was born. One thing I noticed is, the nurses and front receptionist etc never spare a smile for any of the kids. Its a very gloomy atmosphere which is not befitting a pediatric unit. When they come to administer the vaccines etc, they do not play, say anything nice to the kid or even spare a smile. Just comes and pokes and walks out. I considered taking my business elsewhere on all such occasions. Dr Aliya is extremely nice, but when faced with a difficult situations I think she becomes nervous. But she is good about recommending specialists etc. I have nothing bad to say about her. She is good for common kids infections etc.

Dr. Ahmed has a kind disposition and bedside manner. She appears to truly care about my son. The problems is she doesn't have any recommended solutions for sleep training w/ my infant. She is not very supportive of my exclusive breastfeeding. The worst thing about visiting Dr. Ahmed is her staff. They are not courteous or friendly, and do not even attempt a smile. It's a shame that I will be taking my busienss elsewhere.
