Dr. Aliya Wajahat Khan, MD

Not very compassionate and does not listen to patient claims. Her demeanor seems very cold and uncaring. I spent more time in the waiting room than being seen by Dr. Khan. She rarely made eye contact the few times I met her. All she does is come in the room, logs on the computer, and goes through the list of yes/no questions. That takes longer than the initial examination. My last visit I went in for excruciating pain on my neck and numbness in my fingers. She TOLD me I fell and sprained something. I said no, and Iâ??m sure if I fell I would remember, especially if it was to the point of possibly spraining something. She then TOLD me I ran into something. I said again, I would remember something like that. She prescribed painkillers and while escorting me out, she insisted I fell and WOULD NOT BUDGE from that belief. My last words to her were â??I DID NOT FALLâ??. I was quite irritated at this point. I got a second opinion from another physician and after running a few tests it turns… out I have two herniated discs in my neck. I have since changed physicians. I would NOT recommend Dr. Aliya Khan to anyone.
