This doctor's manner is somewhat brusque, considering the diagnosis being rendered. Talks down.

Dr. Arora is fabulous and all staff members are friendly and helpful EXCEPT the Office Manager, who does not return calls and is EXTREMELY reluctant to refund overpayments, which I find disparaging. I think holding funds over 60 days is unacceptable.

Indifferent doctors, little bed side manner, revolving door office, caring only about the bottom line, make you wait in your wheelchair for an hour every single time, office staff don't follow up, it takes a patient two or more attempts to just schedule appointments or follow up with the doctor. Nurses station is only efficient but there are hurdles in getting to them through the front office staff and the uncaring doctors. Bad, needs improvement & health care reform. It's not only the insurance companies, doctors need reform too.

There is not much to dislike about Dr. Arora. For one, her bedside manner has greatly improved as time went on. Clearly, she is knowledgeable in her field, although, like most doctors, she rarely discusses/discloses all of the details of my most recent medical report or relevant data. And for a woman of an eastern culture, she is too westernized in her approach to treatments, with too much emphasis on drugs. It's not her fault, though. Perhaps cancer clinics could benefit from employing a nutritionist, who'd work with patients to alleviate the side effects.Regarding her office staff, unfortunately, there is lack of co-ordination and support (for which she might not be totally responsible, as the practice belongs to Dr. Hernandez.) This often results in extra effort for me with the paperwork and setting up exams and other work. It would be nice if my work was done on the first phone call, not on the second.But it seems that the doctors and nurses are aware of the staff's issues and try… to compensate. The staff could benefit from serious professional training, which lacks at present.
