Dr. Alka Jain, MD

I have found Dr Jain to be someone who truly cares about both my physical and mental wellbeing. She has not only taken time with me during visits to understand what my medical needs are, but is quick to communicate through the portal or text messages. I would highly recommend Dr. Jain if you are looking for a knowledgeable and caring doctor.

Commerce Primary Care is horrible!!! They basically left me for dead. I had seen several PA’s there and no one could figure out what was wrong. Finally, I demanded to see a doctor. Dr. Jain walked into my room and didn’t even ask what was going on. She proceeded to tell me all of the things I should do. She told me that they didn’t have my test results back from the hospital yet when the nurse and I had just discussed them. ?? When the nurse reminded her, she acted like she remembered. She went on to say that I might have some mental health issues!!!!??. We had not even engaged in conversation, EVER! How would she know?!?! PS: I was diagnosed with late stage Lyme Disease but, they had NO CLUE!!! Spare yourself.

I met Dr.Jain when I was in the emergency room. She helped me with a problem and I liked her approach. She has actually called me with test results. Very sharp and up on the latest. A lot of her patients are Huron Valley staff. That speaks volumes.
