I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiments expressed by the other reviewer regarding Ms. Adler. My experience with her was disappointing, primarily due to her glaring lack of bedside manner. From the moment our consultation began, I felt as though I was interacting with someone who was more interested in asserting her opinions than in genuinely listening to my concerns. Ms. Adler often interrupted me, dismissing my thoughts with a tone that felt both rude and unapproachable. She seemed to have predetermined conclusions about my situation and was unwilling to consider my perspective or ask the necessary questions to understand my needs fully. Moreover, her condescending attitude was particularly off-putting. It was as if she felt the need to speak down to me instead of engaging in a respectful dialogue. I left our appointment feeling frustrated, undervalued and belittled. Given this experience, I have no intention of returning to see her. I believe that RUMC needs to address the… presence of staff members like Ms. Adler, who can negatively impact the patient experience. Healthcare professionals need to foster an environment of empathy and respect; unfortunately, she does not meet this standard.
