I was extremely anxious about the health issue I was experiencing. I left the visit feeling the same and with no medical plan.

While I could have been more proactive asking questions, I felt terrible. The doctor did not define what I had going on, did not tell me what to expect and when I should feel better, whether I was contagious, and how long to take the medication she prescribed and there were no Instructions about that on the prescription when I got It from the pharmacy. I would not see choose to see this physician again given a choice.

Dr. Braverman was everything you would hope for as a doctor and then some. She explained every single thing that was happening, exactly what she had found on the EKG, exactly what the problem was, and what needed to be done. She did so with thorough explanations, in language I could understand. When I had to leave a voicemail with my surgeon daughter (my medical advisor), she volunteered to leave the information with her. She was amazing.

I went in thinking I have adhd and was struggling. As an adult she told me it’s impossible since I did well in school. She also told me that I should stop using my phone. After taking actions into my own hands I know have a diagnosis of adhd and a doctor who listens to me. Keep looking if you’re looking for a new GP.
