Dr. Allan Jay Chircus, MD

This Doctor is very rude and sarcastic, he really does not consider feelings when he speaks and could probably care less if you didnt like him.

Dr. Chircus has horrible bedside manner questionable medical knowledge and lack of concern for patients and their families. I would not recommend sending you or a loved one to him.

I must start off that his bedside manner to my mother as well to family is totally unappreciated. While my was under his care at Northwest Hospital he was saying one thing as another was saying totally different. While in my mom's room had a 10 minute conversation on his cell about going out to dinner, drinks and going out to watch the Ravens game I kindly asked him to take the phone call out of my mom's room. It's all about I'm providing supplements from a highly recommended Naturalpathic Doctor and cause I called him out on him being on the phone he told me I was not allowed to give them to her. He has raised his voice at myself cause i speak up about my mom. DR. Chircus doesn't know how to communicate with family doesn't state what he is doing or for what reason to the patient. He is unreliable when it comes to seeing his patients at the time he states. Come to find out what he was telling me in reference to my mom was wrong and what the other doctor was correct. I doesn't care… about the patient wants or needs he's there for the money.

Dr chircus treatment recommendations lead to serious near death issues for both my parents. My mom recovered by eliminating the medications prescribed by chircus. My dad is back on track after reversing the changes introduced unneccessarily by dr chircus.

My dealing with Dr. Chircus was with my dad at Northwest Hospital. In my opinion, he has no bedside manner whatsoever. After providing a list of medicines that are prescribed to my dad, he took it upon himself to change one of them, causing problems for my dad. When confronted about this, he walked away from my mother!!!!

Very rude individual. Was asked not to return though I had been a patient for many years. His reasoning was that he just didn't like me and that my illness was my fault. I think he feared a lawsuit since my condition had gotten worse during the period I was his patient. Thankfully, I found a doctor who actually cared.

I've been a patient of Dr. Chircus's for over 12 years. I recomment him whole-heartedly!! He is caring and accurate. What more could you ask for?
