Dr. Allan D Holiday Jr, MD

I have had a number of times when I have had to see Dr. Holiday from about 1990 through 2011. I have not needed to see him since. He has repaired both knees in the past starting in the mid 90"s Then replaced one knee in 2009. I trusted him to send me on to a neurosurgeon for 2 separate spinal surgeries. One to fuse my neck, another to fuse my lower back. He also gave my husband good advice for treatment of previously ignored ankle problems. I wish he was still in practice.

Not good at all. He talks down to his patients. No longer a doctor at GCH thank goodness.

Best surgeon ever, kind, and nobody works on my bones but him

Dr. Holiday is a wonderful orthopedic surgeon! He has exceptional bedside manners and truely cares for his patients. I have been seeing him for several years now for a broken arm, ruptured disc, and ankle replacement. He has always been kind, will see me on short notice, and his diagnosis has been spot on! Thank you Dr. Holiday!

A number of friends recommended this doctor to me, but I would not recommend him to anyone who is looking for a doctor with some compassion! Not 5 minutes into my appointment, he insulted me by telling me that I was a member of the "big girls' club" and then went on to tell me that I "obviously had deep-seated emotional issues" related to overeating. He told me I needed to lose 130 pounds and handed me a photocopied cover of a cookbook that he recommended I try. The only solution he offered to my problem was for him to find me a counselor to deal with my overeating. I don't think I've ever encountered a doctor who was so rude!

Received right hip total replacement. Had very good results, quick healing time, was very pleased with Dr., his staff and the hospital. would recommend very highly.

I like Dr. Holiday, but his nurse needs to learn how to talk to patients. I found her rude and condescending.

My husband has been under Dr. Holiday's care for two years now. He is a very caring and highly competent physican. He has answered all our questions with patience and understanding. Dr. Holiday doesn't beat around the bush and we appreciate this. He also has a great sense of humor. His staff is wonderful. They know how much I worry about my husband's condition and truely understand.

Office time is well over what most doctors give. Great in explaining treatment, problem and what he is going to do. Great office staff, nurses, x-ray techs. Would highly recommend.

Seems this Medical Doctor that is Board Certified ought to be fined in how he treats patients.
