Todos los dias de mi vida tengo que dar gracias a este doctor ...llego a mi cuarto de hospital después de 4 días dando yo gritos de dolor y el había sido solicitados para ver a otra paciente y le pudieron de paso ver mi caso y se sorprendió por que para el caso que había sido llamado no requería cirugía y yo quedando cuadraplegica no le habían llamado ...el dr Allan lucho por mi por ayudarme y sacarme de mi agonia....y me dijo que tenia mucho dano en la médula...pero cuando lo vi el el salón de operaciones al siguiente día le regale una sonrisa ...confíe tanto en el y en dios que todo tenia que salir bien ....adoro a este medico su fuerza su forma de explicarte directo es único y lejos de guiarse por burocracia de hospitales...me salvo y punto ...ese es mi héroe

I had an operation with this surgeon on Feb. 2018 of two herniated cervical disks, after this a terrible pain I have in my right leg which has been affected. The pain was the worst you could ever imagine, the worst, a really nightmare, the Dr. and his assistant said the pain came from the lumbar part affected too. They checked only Xrays no a new MRI that could give him a result from the operation. When I start to feel the same symptoms in my left leg and go to others pain doctors I decided to change the surgeon. After 8 months Nov 2018 I have to be operated for spinal cord injury left from the first operation and a laminectomy cervical to have balance, because me spinal cord was unbalance for a bone spur left from the worst job done by Allan Jorge. Avoid this surgeon and his commercial neurologist Simon Canelas, who diagnosed me with MS without read a previous Scan Cat done in Baptist Hospital. Please avoid this "Doctors" for your better health. Nowadays I am sill fighting for walk… every day, Sincerely Maria Fernanda Alvarez. Mi madre fue operada de la columna, le fue colocado 6 tornillos,dicha operacion fue bastante compleja.Primeramente quiero agradecerle a Dios, despues al Dr Jorge Allan,medico muy profesional con muchos valores eticos y humanos. La relacion medico paciente es excelente..Ella se recupera increiblemente a pesar de su edad ...gracias Dr Allan y a su equipo de profesionales de la salud .

My 39 year old young and healthy sister died 13 years ago due to Dr. Jorge medical malpractice. He was the only doctor who in her insurance that could perform a back surgery. He basically severed her iliac artery and the cava vein. My sister died a few hours after the surgery.

Did a good job on my surgery. Very happy with results. It was very painful at first but after three months I'm finally almost pain free. His assistant Daniella was excellent and very knowledgeable too. Highly recommend this Dr.

For years I have suffered from spine issues. It began in my thirties with neck and now, thirty years later, it's my lower back. I have been a patient of Dr.Jorge's for the last 10 years, and will do anything to stay away from surgery. Dr.Jorge has treated me non-invasively with therapy, and encouraged me to exercise which has now become a way of life. I am now pain free, and able to do the things I enjoy. Dr.Jorge is very caring, and his staff courteous and prompt.

I was referred to Dr. Jorge for a possible spinal fusion. I don't doubt his expertise as a physician and surgeon and I was impressed with the amount of time that he spent explaining the operation and listening to my concerns and questions.However, his office staff is unprofessional and disorganized. On the day of my first appointment, I had to arrange to take 1/2 day from work only to get to the office and be told that he had an emergency surgery. The person in the office LIED and said that she had attempted to call me when they had my work, home, and mobile numbers. None of them had messages left for me. So, rather than wasting time, I asked if I could complete any paperwork at that time so that it was ready for my next appointment.When I went for the 2nd appointment, I was given the same set of paperwork. When I explained that I had already completed it at the previous cancelled visit, I was told that the forms had been shredded.I also had been given a prescription for an MRI… (which my insurance required pre-authorization). When I questioned this with the staff, I was rudely told that it was MY responsibility to get the authorization and appointment. When i called the insurance company, they couldn't believe that I was given those instructions. They said that it was the office responsibility as they needed diagnostic codes and other medical information which the average patient would NOT understand or be privy to. I decided to go to another surgeon - not because I didn't trust HIS expertise, but if I had a problem after surgery, I felt that the office staff would not relay the message or I would be in pain at the hospital waiting for a return call for extra medication - possibly for hours because the office staff may not have relayed the message.I did write him a letter so that he was aware of the problems with his staff. After all, they can make or break the reputation of a physician. He seemed offended and I never saw him again.This was 4 years ago, so I hope that his staff has gotten their act together or he has weeded out the incompetent individuals.My recommendation would be to give him a try, but if you start seeing "red flags" with the office staff, find another neurosurgeon.

Doctor Alan Jorge treated me thru stretching exercises to control my lower back pain doe to humongous herniated disc.He was my 3rd opinion Doctor after the two previous recommended a spinal surgeryAfter over 5 years after Doctor Allan Jorge attended me I have no back pain, and if I feel some pain with his stretching routine after a few days the pain is gone.

I am grateful I did the procedure he recommended since it was simple versus a five hour operation I was offer by another doctor. I regain quality of life thanks to him. His bedside manner were excellent.
