Dr. Allan Jay Kaplan, MD

I have had him as my primary care doctor for almost 8 years! Always makes time for an appointment, listens carefully. Best primary care doctor I have ever had, I make a commute just to maintain him as my PCP. Makes referrals and regular check ups. Flexible schedule as well, no complaints from me. Exceptional care.

Always sleeping, out in left field. The only reason he’s getting 5 stars because his office manager/staff/family is logging on to give him a 5 star rating! Wake up!

insulting. orders same type blood test with normal results. non informational. does not listen to your chief complaints. poor documents to your medical records. lack diagnosing just to get paid by drug company and your insurance having you keep coming in over and over to find out all his meds and plans are not working.

I question if he is a real Dr. The only thing he does is refer patients out to other Drs. In my opinion he should choose another profession. I would rate him as MINUS 5 stars. I am no longer a patient of his.

he studies insurance more than medicine he can not diagnose your illness. often copays everytime you enter his office

great person. good listener. never doctors just sends me to another dr. every time i see him. we pay 600 dollars a month for health care and our copays are still high. i can't afford to keep paying 2 copays. it costs us 80 dollars every time we go to the dr. he is a nice guy though. talks and laughs but always sends you to another dr.

I consider myself lucky being a patient of Dr. Allan J. Kaplan. This Doctor helps me a lot. While I had seen this Doctor during my first appointment, I did not feel well at all. Dr. Kaplan was very compassionate, asked a lot of questions and said that his assistant will call me next day. I had never had such positive my first experience! This Doctor scheduled a few more appointments - once per week - to make sure I feel better. Dr. Kaplan is very talanted physician and very thoughtful human being. I started feeling much better after 4 or 5 appointments with this Doctor. Dr. Allan Kaplan without any problems answers all the questions, refers to the specialists and prescribes necessary meds. This Doctor is very generous and good listener. I sincerely recommend Dr. Allan Kaplan to any individual who is looking for a new physician.
