Dr. Allan Alexander Mackay, MD

I wouldn't even rate the office in Bloomington a one. The MD doesn't care, he will let you run out of medications, when you call to ask why your meds weren't called in, the front office staff "Missy or Misty" becomes defensive and rude. She can not handle the truth. She will say they "forgot". They need education on professionalism, kindness and courtesy. I would also say compassion, but I don't believe that can be taught. I am not a patient, and never would be. I. A patient advocate. It's time these people are held accountable for their actions.

Dr. McKay and his staff were all very rude and unprofessional. He doesnt listen to what your concerns and just does whatever he wants. His office staff billed my insurance with the wrong treatment codes and then when my insurance denied the claim and I tried to explain to his staff what the problem was, they didn't care and said it was my problem.. Horrible and wouldnt recommend this clinic for nothing...

Absolutely love dr Mackay he has helped me out a lot

I told this doctor I had the steroid shots just two months prior, he told me he had a different type and would give me relief. They scheduled me for the following week. They had not gotten prior authorization and I sat there for almost two hours. He gave me the shots in seconds, never the slightest pain relief. Turns out they were the same shots according to my EOB. Just another money grabber

I wouldn’t let him practice on my dog! He just guesses at what the problem might be instead of figuring it out like a Dr should.

I had been in so much pain , I had been to doctor after doctor, went to therapy had surgery I did everything but my , know one could get my pain to be just live able, I’m 55 have 4 grown children 5 grandchildren and I love my family , I’m a family person, I hid it but I really didn’t want to be here anymore, yes I didn’t want to live. That’s how bad I hurt I was so depressed , I didn’t know what to do. To I made a appointment with dr Mackey, he looked over everything , touched on my back, then he said what he could do, give me injections that day an come back in one week so I did , come back in one week could believe it how much better it felt so he said he would give me some more an come back in another week he he didn’t put me on any pain meds, so I came back in a week he said what cat I do for you I said nothing right now I just want to thank you doctor I thank you we’re sent from above cause just a few weeks ago I did want to live I hurt so bad I thought it was over for me an how I… can thank you eough . If I can keep my pain level right here my life will be great.I thank god every night for Dr. Allen Mackey he is a very caring, intelligent, spart, doctor, if you feel like your at the end don’t give up call Dr. Allen Mackays OFFICE an set up appointment you won’t regret it , I promise, thank you. Dr. Mackay is an amazing doctor, he actually cares about how you feel and listens to you. I have been going to him for a year now and he has always took really good care of me! I would give him 10 stars if I could!! He is very good at what he does :)

STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. DR. MCKAY WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND LISTENED TO EVERYTHING I HAD TO SAY. EXPLAINED HIS PLAN OF ACTION WITH ME AND ASKED ME ABOUT MY OPINION. I AM VERY VERY SATISFIED
