Dr. Allan Howard Ropper, MD

I saw Dr Ropper after a work injury that has caused pain for over a year (since the original date of the injury). He listened SO well and treated me with dignity and respect. When no one else could figure out the reason for my constant pain and ankle instability, Dr Ropper was spot on and his referrals were excellent. He was kind and thoughtful and really listened well. I think I’d still be looking for the reasons for my pain and instability if it weren’t for him! Testing proved That he was correct and spot on! He’s a gentle soul with impeccable skills to diagnose problems. As an RN, I really appreciated his diagnostic skills, compassion, intelligence, kindness, and they way he treated me with dignity and respect. I have discovered that many doctors treat you harshly when they see that you have a work related injury especially when it is against a hospital- he never treated me differently and was actually extremely compassionate. Absolutely great doctor!

I saw Dr.Ropper when he was at Mass. Gen. back around 1978. He is excellent., and knows his business.

Dr. Ropper is beyond brilliant, and easy to talk to. He answers any and all questions -- in as much detail as you'd like. I've been a patient of his, thankfully, since the early 80s, and couldn't have asked for a better doctor.
