Dr. Allan Ricardo Rubinfeld, MD

UM has this alleged doctor working at their hospital. He is not bilingual and has zero concern for any of the patients. His visits are for less than 60 seconds and for medicare billing since he is unable to speak English.

He is a doctor and excels at his field. Given care and acknowledgement for what is necessary and needs to be done. If you have any experience in the medical field, you know as well as I, that all patients priority is to be healthy and discharged as soon as possible. Has saved countless of lives and mine. I couldn't ask for better help

Dr. Rubinfeld makes getting treated at a hospital a nightmare. Checks on you for 5 minutes 1 time during the day. He has no concern for his patients it shows that we are just a number. When I finally can be discharged the nurse tells me he is home and I have to wait until tomorrow. Everything is electronic so this is something that can be done over the phone, I will never come back to UM for any of my health problems. If you want a dr that cares about his patients steer away from dr Rubinfeld

The previous post in regards to Dr. Rubinfeld only caring about money is the absolute truth but it goes further than that, not only does he only care about money but he has a total and complete disregard for the patient and their families . He is more concerned with discharging a patient than he is about their well being and safety and is quick to discharge a patient who has no business at home. I have a perfect example with a patient that was readmitted to the hospital not even 24 hours after discharge with an infection as well as dehydration . He put a person's life in grave danger without regard . All I hope is the day he lay in a hospital bed that he encounters a doctor (if we can call him that ) who treats his patients with the same disregard as he once did . Good luck with that! I only gave him one star becuase a rating is required but this is a 100 % negative rating !
