Dr. Allan Sio, D.D.S.
Though Dr. Allan Sio was born in Maryland, he grew up locally and attended UC Berkeley. His pride still lies with the Blue and Gold as he follows Cal basketball and football games. Go Bears! He obtained his dental education at UCSF and still returns as a part-time faculty volunteer to help dental students. For exercise, he plays in a basketball league in San Francisco. Among other things, he enjoys listening to Brazilian Bossa Nova, which he picked up from a recent trip to Rio de Janeiro. An enthusiast to traveling and a connoisseur of Belgian ales, he has also been to Europe and Asia. Someday, he and his cousin/partner, Dr. Vincent Lim, would like to go back to their parents’ home country of Burma and help improve the dental health of the underprivileged people.
