Allan D. Weimer, DDS, MS
Orthodontics is one of the best professions anyone could have. It combines art and science to help improve the lives and increase the confidence of the people around me. My staff and I are enriched daily by our unique and wonderful patients and parents.
Education and experience
I graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, earning my Doctorate of Dental Surgery and my Master of Science degree to specialize in orthodontics. I then served in the US Navy as a Lt. Commander as a dental surgeon.
Currently, I am a clinical professor at the University of Colorado Medical Center, a member of the Council on Education for the American Association of Orthodontists. I have served as president of the Colorado Orthodontic Association, and regularly attend regional and national orthodontic educational programs. I'm proud to have been consistently voted as a top orthodontist in the state of Colorado by my peers.
Office life
Our team is …exceptional because of their attention to detail, experience, and longevity with the practice. Many have been with me for more than 10 years! Each team member takes a genuine interest in each individual. It is our goal to make orthodontics as fun and enjoyable as possible with lots of humor and light-heartedness.
Community involvement
Being active in the community is very important to me. I am a member of several local and national organizations, including:

Steamboat Parks and Recreation Commission, Past Chairman
United Way
Boy Scouts of America
Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club

Outside the Office
I am originally from Lincoln, NE, and am proud to have lived and worked in Steamboat Springs for more than 25 years. When I’m not creating beautiful smiles, I enjoy all the outdoor activities that the Colorado mountains have to offer.
