Dr. Allan Richard Weisshar

My husband and I are health care professionals. We were very impressed with Dr. Weisshar's clinical skills. Unfortunately, his bedside manner could not be worse. We both experienced him as arrogant, condescending and painfully lacking in human compassion. He furthermore, admitted to another child's parent, that he has had repeated complaints about his arrogant, unkind bedside manner, and that he has lost many patients because of these personality flaws-and yet he does not change. Dr. Weisshar's abusive personality with his patients' parents may not matter to some parents, but how people treat one another IS important to our family. Life is too short, in our humble opinion, to tolerate an out-of-control ego in a professional we trust with our children's medical welfare. If what you want in a pediatrician is someone who is not just a competant doctor, but also endowed with a measure of human kindness and humility, save yourself the unnecessary aggravation, and look elsewhere.
