Dr. Aksamit did not want to help me. He told me it was a waste of time and money to do any testing on me and that it didn't matter. However, he was very interested in what book I picked up in the lobby to read while I waited for my numerous appointments all day. I do NOT recommend him. He was rude and condescending and doesn't care about his patients.

Did not listen to me. He let me know he had a more important "Saudi Royalty" patient waiting. He did a cursory exam. Disrespectful.

Dr. Aksamit is amazing. He invested the time needed in order to gain a clear understanding of my daughter's complex issues. He maintained a laser focus on details, patiently gaining much needed insight. He is incredibly responsive, advocating for the scheduling of tests and other specialists-he listens but more importantly, he heard my daughter. He closely monitors the progression of tests. He's intelligent, professional, kind and respectful. We are blessed that our path crossed with Dr. Aksamit

He had his mind made up before I finished explaining my symptoms. He was set in his attitude when he found out I was self referred.

Have all symptoms of MS, spots on brain, demylenating areas on thoracic spine and severe foot drop but was told I have no neurological problems. And was told he couldn't help me. Don't waste your time. I spend almost 40 hours coming and going for them to say they couldn't help me.
