Dr. Allen Joseph Budek, DO

He ignore my grandmother's issues and failed to give her the antibiotics she needed. She died from a septic infection HE could have prevented.

The bad reviews below sound like my experience as well. Had to follow up for workers comp after hurting my back, waited forever at "urgent" care which admittedly may not have been his fault, did not seem interested in my issue just seemed interested in getting me out of there and back to work, came across as rude, mentioned multiple times not bringing paperwork from the hospital-was not told I needed to bring anything-nurse was faxing a request for my medical records but he couldn't be bothered to wait, just harped on that also, apparently it's my fault that I don't carry my medical records with me? Said I was good to go back to work less than 24 hours after suffering a back injury, which anyone who has experienced and back injury, even if it's not major, knows it hurts worse the next day. Would never see this doctor again nor would I ever visit the establishment I saw him at if not forced to by my employer.

I was seen by Dr Budek for a Workers compensation issue. I waited for 2 hours in the lobby, then another 30 minutes in the examination room. When the Dr entered the room, he did not smile, nor did he apologize for the wait. I said hello first, then he introduced himself in a hurried manner. He asked me a couple of questions but never once allowed me to finish my answer to those questions. He made me feel as though I was ignorant of my situation. I am in the medical field, and do know a couple of things. I found him to be very condescending and outright rude. The paperwork provided for my claim was inconsistent in its content ( stated no restrictions, but then stated restrictions) I was not given any instructions for healing, no instructions as to how to manage my discomfort, and he essentially forgot about me sitting in the exam room, as he came back in after an extended time and said "oh, wrong patient." You are ready to go. That was it. Very unprofessional and arrogant.

I felt the Dr. was more concerned about his reputation and building up his practice. He came off as condescending and braggadocios. I was informed that he does not do refills from a pharmacy request. You must call his office to request your refill even if you have a mail order pharmacy. He requested that I see him 3-4 times a year, which is a lot if you are not sick.

Dr. Budeck well informed about my medical history on my first visit. He was able to find problems, discuss them with me, give me proper advise and medication to help treat the problems. His followup was excellent and even though some would think his bedside manner was gruff I felt he was caring and stressed what part I had in getting better and staying better.
