I hate to leave a bad review but I had an absolutely terrible experience. I have had 3 root canal surgeries and came to Hefler for my 4th. He seems like a nice guy but I have had root canals before and something was very wrong here. He numbed me up at first and then about halfway through the process I could feel everything, it was incredibly painful. I whimpered, told him it hurt, no response. He continued with the surgery. By the last 10 minutes (and he took forever by the way... easily twice as long as any root canal I've had before) I was whimpering and sobbing from the pain. He seemed not to notice or care. I left the office crying my eyes out and for about 30 minutes afterwards my whole face was pounding with pain. It was misery. I personally would never return to this guy, absolutely never. Worst dental experience of my whole life. And, for reference, I would say my other root canals were uncomfortable but painless besides from a lititle soreness for a day or two afterwards.
